Good down to earth cuisine and a sauguads beer 🍺

Was a very tasty suckling pig that I got today at Berghammer, with a really krachada crust and meaty, tender meat. Really good coleslaw, side salad also nice, but unfortunately in a too small bowl and if you want to distribute the marinade that was under the salad, then the leaves fly out of the bowl. The vegetarian linguini from Schatz also looked great and tasted nice and spicy. The only stress was when the two parties split the bill, because you could no longer pay by bank card ... if you didn't have any cash with you, what would you do ?!

We went to the Berghammer for lunch today. To be honest, I haven't been there for a long time. But since there are always a lot of four- and two-wheeled vehicles there, I wanted to give the inn a chance again, as I've heard good voices from time to time. The first disappointment when entering the guest room. The seating with the old, narrow tables is very charming, but there is no decoration. Other restaurants show us that it can look different and look very loving even in Corona times. The service staff consisted of three women, an older one with a terribly loud organ, and it was also very echoing in the guest room; a middle-aged woman and a young woman. The menu consisted of two pieces of paper in transparent sleeves, which is also more attractive in Corona times. People asked very quickly about the drinks, a large specialty and a large spritzer for the same price a little over three euros is still okay, but a small 0.33 cola for 3.20 euros is more than cheeky. For dinner one of us chose a Schäufele, which came with two small dumplings and a coleslaw. The Schäufele clearly lacked salt, the sauce with which such a dish stands and falls tasted totally bland, as if it had been thinned and then these dumplings - they were like rubber bunnies with a filling - were it breadcrumbs ??? - I couldn't taste it, because apart from gummy all the dumplings tasted like nothing. A punch in the stomach area for anyone who loves dumplings. 11.90 euros would have been okay if the court had voted qualitatively. But it has by no means. The other two eaters had ordered a turkey cordon bleu with a "Rupfkäse filling" and pretzel breading and potato salad. The cordon bleu with plenty of roasted aromas, the "Rupfkäse" turned out to be Obazder or Liptauer, which really covered everything with its strong spiciness, which was hot even stronger. You couldn't taste poultry fish any more, I neither saw nor tasted the ham. You couldn't taste anything of the supposedly special breading, only marginally the sweetness of the cranberries. I saved the potato salad for the very end, just to get a different taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, there was no side salad, although this meal cost 14 euros. We weren't asked how it tasted either, they just asked if you could dump it. Conclusion: It was not worth trying again, but rather terribly disappointing for the price range. There will certainly not be a repetition.

Great food and good beer. Staff is very nice and polite.

The food was very good and the beer as always. It should be noted, however, that there is nothing warm after 1:30 p.m.

We were with a whole group in the restaurant. All dishes were of the best quality. The beers are excellent! Nice beer garden, nice Bräustüberl - a place to feel good! I can only recommend! If you are in the area, you should stop there.

I will definitely not come again! 1. Ordered roast pork. The couple behind us at the table ordered their food in front of us. After 5 minutes the waitress comes to the couple's table and says to the gentleman that his meal is unfortunately over, but that she has roast pork as an alternative. That's what he chose. Immediately afterwards the waitress comes to me and tells me that there is no more roast pork… I felt ripped off if you can say that. As an alternative, I was suggested a farmer's gröstl. I.e. seared ALTER roast pork. Last but not least - unfortunately I didn't see it straight away - there was the roast pork on the bill, which I then paid for and which was 2 euros more expensive than the Gröstl. There was no discussion with the waitress because she insisted on her right. I just left it and will never enter the place again and would not recommend it either. 2. Instead of an ordered shandy we only got beer. I told the waitress that, but the same game again. She told me I'm not right, you can see the soda is inside. There were two of us and neither of us could taste a drop of soda ... At least she brought us a small glass of soda for us at the house. If you are on this route by bike, I personally do not recommend stopping there. There are also other good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Unfortunately there was nothing warm to eat at 7.30 p.m., not even salads. Beer garden would be very cozy, but there is no service. At 9 p.m. we were pretty much urged to leave the local area. You don't want card payments, even if you could.

Great beer garden right on the bike path. You should always plan for a bike tour. The wild garlic noodles are delicious. Since the tenant change in 2019 it has become much better and looser.

Cozy pub and very nice beer garden in summer. Since new tenants are up. Definitely recommendable. The beer is also very tasty and quickly leads to a buzz.

With the new owner (since about 2 weeks), the tavern is running really well again. The food was great, beer tastes good and the wait staff are very friendly!

A nice and rustic inn. Good beer & good food. Everything fine. However, there is a minus point for the unfriendliness of the host.
